I went out to the airport the other day and saw the Erickson Air-Crane so thought I would get a couple of pictures.

Great photos John, nice and sharp and well composed. What a great piece of machinery that big one is. Real sorry I missed it. Never know may be more fires yet before this summer is over.

Guess what Ralph? I don't go past your place to get to the airport from Estella....

No, we were going for a bit of a drive and Helen heard on the scanner that the Erickson had landed so we changed direction and headed out there. Those little yellow water bombers are pretty good though, one was taking off as we got there.
Very impressive for an agricultural plane. It is a pity the Erickson was locked down by the time we got there.
