I struggled where to put this shot but thistles are flowers as well aren't they?
With the water in the lake up over the vegetation there are some interesting shots to be had.

Well, they do have flowers, don't they? The correct name for them is:
Scientific name: Onopordum acanthium L.
Common names: Scotch thistle, cotton thistle, heraldic thistle, woolly thistle.

Even though they are regarded as weeds, they still have flowers.
